Dieta Guide

Ayahuasca Nutritional Diet

Some medications such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) have dangerous or even lethal side effects when combined with ayahuasca and must be noted in your intake form to ensure a safe journey. We require a minimum of 30 days off of SSRIs to participate in our ceremonies, this is for your safety.

Extending the benefits of your dieta for a week or more before and after your ceremony is traditionally recommended. We understand this may not be feasible for everyone with families or more specific diets like keto and carnivore. Our dieta is structured to give you the essentials to make the best decisions for your lifestyle. We highly encourage you to be disciplined with this process to promote a stronger connection to the medicine during your ceremony. Please contact us if you have any questions about your ceremony preparation.

Day Of Ceremony

On the day of your ceremony, it is recommended that you enjoy a light vegetarian breakfast. You should avoid foods up to five hours before your ceremony, fasting is highly encouraged if it will not cause discomfort. It's advised to avoid spicy foods caffeine-containing beverages, eggs, dairy, and rich sugary treats. Staying hydrated is recommended. While water or herbal tea are permissible, some fruits should be avoided post-ceremony unless experiencing nausea or dizziness.

Preparing Your Home

It is recommended that you take the time to prepare your home or space before my arrival for our ceremony. Tidying up your home, and creating a setting that fosters a harmonious journey is subjective. Each participant will want a mat or bed for their journey, a place that will be comfortable for multiple hours on the medicine. Having an eye mask available for your ceremony is recommended for going deeper with the medicine and avoiding outside distractions
